Everyone had a great Christmas here. Nadia came into my room at 8:45 and informed me that she got a scooter. So we all got up and got the cameras ready for the melee that followed. The girls also got skates, guitars, watches, cartridges for misc games they have, scrapbooking kits, and other things that escape me right now. Art, Natalia and Vera were with us this morning too. It was great spending time with them this week. Sid got me a KitchenAid Mixer and I got him a table saw. Points of interest, Nadia noting that her scooter is easier b/c it has a "great sense of turning". I sound awful in the clip as I have a cold and am losing my voice, so don't be alarmed by the raspiness of the speaker :-) The picture right here is what I hung my Christmas cards on. Got the idea from a magazine, I think I like it.
Me, Kim and Bill took the girls to Palestine Texas to ride The Polar Express. It took approx. 3 1/2 hours to get there, but we all agree that it was worth it, atleast this once. The actual train ride to the "North Pole" was 1 hour (Palestine to Rusk and back). So here's a few pics and clips, enjoy!
I have created little scrapping monsters. Aidan tells me in the evenings, "Mom, first we take a bath, then we scrapbook, then go to bed.". I think Santa will be bringing them their own supplies.
Sid went to a conference in Vegas in November and I was lucky enough to join him. Here's a few pics of us around the city. The first night we got tickets to the Cirque du Soliel show "The Beatles Love". The show was really neat and of course the music was great.
I know I am so bad at updating this blog, but I am making it my goal this New Year to change that. Here are a few pics from their birthday party. Everyone had a great time and I made the cakes.
